Why chocolate linen is going to be your new best friend
We all know the biggest benefit of a linen suit in the summertime. A breathable fabric to keep you cool. But too often, when we think of linen suits, we tend to think of them in lighter colors, like cream, khaki and even white. It makes sense – we tend to wear lighter colors in the summer. That’s why a darker color, like chocolate linen, is likely to be overlooked. So, what’s so great about a chocolate linen suit? Here’s some food for thought.

Versatility. By now you should know that if something isn’t versatile, it’s likely you won’t see it featured here. It never gets old, which is why if you buy timeless and versatile clothing, it will never get “old” or be out of style. A dark chocolate color is just as versatile as your standard navy or grey.
On or off duty. Because you can easily substitute a dark brown suit in place of navy or grey, it integrates very nicely into your office wardrobe. With a blue shirt and classic tie, you’ve got the perfect recipe for sharp workwear. Dark brown also lends itself to an easy off-duty sharp casual look. Simply lose the tie or suit up with a printed shirt and you’re ready for cocktails.
Separate game. Again, going hand in hand with versatility, you can easily break this suit into separates. (We’ll be showing you several ways to style them over the next couple of weeks.) The unstructured jacket moonlights as a great sport coat, while you’d be hard-pressed to find a nicer pair of trousers.
