A video diary of my trip to the US Open
A couple weeks ago, I had the privilege of attending the US Open for the very first time as a guest of Creed, one of my all-time favorite fragrance brands. In case you haven’t heard, Creed just released their first new men’s fragrance in seven years – it’s called Viking – and not only did I get to see some amazing tennis, but I also got a preview of a truly remarkable scent a few days before it was released to the public.
You’ll notice that I don’t actually talk about the scent in the video – that was unintentional. After leaving the US Open, I’d planned to sit down and give some first impressions, but in my rush to get back to Manhattan to meet my friend Tug (an amazing illustrator) for a drink and then having to jet over to Penn Station to catch my train back, I just completely forgot. All that means is that there’s going to be a dedicated review in a future video and post. Something to look forward to.
A bonus in this video: I share my secret for how to know what car to sit in on the NYC subway so that you’re right by the exit when the train pulls into your destination station.
