I have to admit to being pretty much a fair weather motorcyclist. If it’s raining, I’m not taking the bike out. And if it’s cold? Forget about it. My lower temperature threshold is about 60-degrees. And sometimes even that’s pushing it. Because once you get over 40mph, you’re getting a good amount of wind and some serious chill.

Keeping my neck warm has never been an issue. Just throw on a chunky scarf or a turtleneck, which I’ve actually been favoring recently. And my leather driving gloves are all I usually need for my hands.
The one area I’ve always overlooked, however, has been my feet. I generally underestimate (or plain forget) how much exposure they have to the wind, which leads cold toes and regrets about 30 minutes into a ride.
Enter UGG’s latest boot – Treadlite Weather. They’re waterproof in case I do happen to get caught in the rain and are actually temperature rated for -4 degrees Fahrenheit – though I doubt I’ll ever be riding when it’s below zero. The entire line looks great, but my favorite is the Hannen TL. Simple, rugged, lightweight and warm. See you on the road.
