You already know we’re big fans of monochromatic dressing at HSS. It’s a simple way to make a serious statement. Here’s a monochromatic fall look featuring a dark brown suit and a turtleneck sweater.

Turtlenecks have been making a big comeback over the past couple of years. Personally, I don’t know why they ever fell out of favor. In place a button-up and tie, a layered turtleneck conveys a sense of confidence, sophistication and suave elegance.
I’ve always considered myself more of a silver guy, but I’ve gradually started to shift over to favor gold accessories. Gold pairs effortlessly with brown – both are rich and earthy tones.
Speaking of brown, I still can’t get over that I found this Vintage YSL suit for $250 in LA. As you’ve probably noticed, it’s one of my favorites because of the fit and the color. When it comes to starting a smart suit wardrobe, navy and grey are the usual first choices, but I would put a brown suit right up there as a third option – if not substituted for grey.
Thanks for reading.
